It has been three months into this new year. 2020 has been difficult for all of us, emotionally and physically. There have been many changes in our lifestyle. Some of us have been able to cope with the previous year well. But some of us are still trying to fit our footing. No fear! Don’t watch other people’s journeys and feel bad. Instead, motivate yourself to start now! Even if it is the third month, it is not too late to start. In fact, here we bring to you, some tips. These tips will help in inculcating healthy habits in March and the whole of spring. Additionally, this will keep you happy!

#Tip1 Eat well

Eating well doesn’t mean that you leave everything. Don’t be too rigorous in dieting. Instead, you can eat smaller portions in two-hour intervals. As a matter of fact, the more rigorous your diet, the easier it is for you to gain back the weight. Instead, choose what you are eating well. Eat healthier snacks like dried fruits.

#Tip2 Meditate 

You must find time to relax your mind. With the number of hours we have to work.. It is a good idea to meditate. You can also do some guided meditation.. This will help you to find your centre. The more relaxed your mind is, the more productive you will be.

To keep your body energised you must exercise and workout. The best thing you can do for yourself is not to put unrealistic expectations on yourself. Keep yourself inspired. If at all, you can workout with a friend. You can use zoom calls or physically workout together. 

#Tip4 Read Books and Self Help Magazines

Expand your mind reading new books. Explore newer genres.. Or, as a matter of fact.. You can also re-read your beloved authors or stories. This will make you happier and nostalgic. Discuss your favourite books with your friends and try to read new recommendations. For instance, you could also join some book clubs online! You should also read some self help magazines for more useful tips!

#Tip5 Sunlight and Sunbathing

Make sure you are basking in the sunlight often. This increases the intake of Vitamin D. The best way to get good sunlight is through sunbathing. If you have a garden or a poolside, bask in the sun. You will feel that your pain will wither away. 

#Tip6 Hydrate

Water is the biggest source of health. Make sure you are drinking at least a gallon of water every day. In fact, you can also keep drinking green or white teas. They have a calming effect. Green tea has many antioxidants that reduce the chances of cancer. In fact, this could be a replacement for water, but it is better you drink both! But keep one thing in mind, water must always be either room temperature or warm. 

#Tip7 Self Care

Invest in me-time. You can do some face packs that will help you bring some glow. Or you can take long baths. The important thing is to spend time with yourself. In fact, spend time talking to yourself. Ask yourself what keeps you happy and what brings YOU happiness. 

Try to adopt whatever helps you. The way to a healthy body is to listen to what it says. That’s how these tips will work! Of course, you must keep a check on your cravings and sugar intake. But don’t be too harsh on yourself. Your body is your own temple. Do what makes you and your body happy. Keeping yourself energised and happy is the best way to take care of your body!

In fact, you should make sure that you are not overworking yourself. Everyday is a challenge and you must take it in your stride. 

However, it is most important that you take out time to keep yourself calm! With most of us working from home, we have longer hours. And additional responsibilities. Therefore it is imperative to take care of our own health. Keep yourself healthy and happy. That is the biggest tip!
